We are actively seeking a skilled Urologist to provide locum tenens coverage near Yellow Jacket, CO. This is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified Urologist to join a dynamic healthcare team and make a significant impact in a community setting. The position is available immediately and offers the possibility of ongoing coverage. • Shift Details:
  • Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (day shifts) and 4:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night call)
  • Saturday-Sunday: 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
  • Provide one week of coverage per month on an ongoing basis
• Patient Care:
  • See patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including the emergency room and clinic
  • Perform various urological procedures in the OR as required
• Support Staff:
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team including Medical Assistants (MA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), and Registered Nurses (RN)

• Board Certification:
  Must be board certified in Urology
• State License:
  Active Colorado medical license required
• Additional Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid DEA license
• Emergency/Temp Privileges:
  Yes, temporary privileges are available to expedite the start date

• EMR System: EPIC
• FTE: 0.5 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)
• Procedures: A wide range of urological procedures will be expected, including both routine and emergency surgeries.
