Locums Orthopedic Surgery Physician

We are seeking a Locums Orthopedic Surgery Physician toprovide 24-hour call coverage at a Level III Trauma Center in Pueblo, Colorado.

$3400 Per Day

  24-hour call, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM

• Trauma Level:Level III

  Must be available onsite within 30 minutes in accordance with Colorado Level III Trauma Center guidelines
• EMR:
  Epic

• Provide 24-hourorthopedic surgery call coverage.
• Evaluate andmanage orthopedic trauma and emergency surgical patients.
• Respond totrauma activations and orthopedic consultations.
• Perform procedures and surgical interventions within the scope of a generalorthopedic surgeon.
• Provide timely evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of patients requiring orthopedic care.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, trauma, surgical, and hospital teams.

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery – REQUIRED
• Active Coloradomedical license or IMLC with LOQ in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS andBLS
• Active DEA
• Ability torespond onsite within 30 minutes when called
• Generalorthopedic surgery and trauma experience
