This facility was established in 1890 and has developed into a major health treatment and referral center providing services in cancer care, cardiac care, emergency trauma care, and physical rehabilitation. The facility maintains 300 licensed beds, 15 surgical suites, and an active medical staff of 1,206, supporting a broad scope of surgical and specialty services. Clinical infrastructure and established protocols are in place to support locum tenens vascular surgery coverage throughout all assigned periods.

Colorado offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor recreation, arts and culture, craft beverage experiences, and community festivals throughout the year. The state features performing arts, live music, farmers markets, film festivals, and culinary events, alongside rodeos and professional sports across its diverse regions. Clinicians may also explore scenic attractions, hot springs, and activities including hiking, cycling, rafting, and stargazing during time away from clinical responsibilities.

Clinicians will provide vascular surgery coverage on a 24-hour call basis across inpatient and emergency room settings at an on-site facility in Colorado, with initial coverage dates of October 2 - 4 and October 7 - 11, followed by ongoing dates beginning January 2027. Clinical responsibilities include the surgical treatment of blunt and other vascular trauma, as well as management of cases and consults originating from inpatient units and the emergency department.

Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and all clinical duties are conducted entirely on-site. Board certification in Vascular Surgery is required for consideration.
