A school psychologist position is available in Peyton, CO, serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract role requires a certified and licensed professional dedicated to supporting student mental health and academic success within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students social and emotional well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend appropriate support services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Valid certification and licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.
