Job Summary:
The School of Mental and Behavioral Health at Regis University is looking for Affiliate Faculty to teach courses in the Master of Arts in Counseling program beginning in either the spring or summer semester. Affiliate teaching assignments are not guaranteed but are assigned on the basis of departmental and university requirements. Individual contracts are given per course for these assignments. Continued teaching contracts are not guaranteed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Degree programs are delivered in full semester (14 week), 7 week accelerated, and weekend intensive formats. Teaching these courses requires a great deal of student preparation and work outside of the formal classroom environment. Classes are small, ranging from 8 to 18 students, so students can interact and receive personalized attention. Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a mental health field from a regionally accredited institution. Examples include counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or clinical psychology.
- One of the following licensure statuses in good standing:
-Provisional or associate-level mental health license while currently enrolled in a doctoral program in a mental health discipline
- Ability to teach in the evening or on a hybrid schedule, as assigned
- Ph.D in Counseling from a CACREP accredited program
- Past graduate level teaching experience
- An understanding of and willingness to associate with Jesuit principles of pedagogy
- Demonstrated teaching experience in Cultural Issues, Research Methods, Counseling Theories, Clinical Assessment.

These positions are benefits-eligible for workers' compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
Pay Rate:
Master's Degree are paid per $3,750 per course contract;
Doctorate Degree are paid $4,200 per course contract.
