Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in Social Work is required
• Experience providing social work services within school settings, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong understanding of child development, behavioral interventions, and crisis management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and display empathy and cultural sensitivity
• Organized, flexible, and passionate about supporting student well-being

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect social work services to elementary students, including individual and group counseling
• Conduct social-emotional assessments and participate in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to identify student needs and develop intervention strategies
• Provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing social or emotional distress
• Consult and train school staff about best practices for supporting students' mental health and well-being
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
