High School Summer: Social Science & Humanities Program

Admissions Requirements: Open to high school sophomores and juniors (rising juniors and rising seniors). Must be 15–17 years old by program end. US and international students eligible

Telluride Summer Program is a free summerprogram organized for students who are interested in social science and humanities. High school juniors and sophomores of US and international students can apply for either of the two courses: TASS-CBS (seminars exploring topics within history, politics, literature, art, and related contributions of people.)

and TASS-AOS (seminars examining topics in literature, history, art, and related stuff to investigate the power shape social structures.). This summer program stretches to 5 weeks (mid June – mid July) with an Final date to receive applications by early December. Seminars of this summer program includes college level seminars that emphasize small group discussions than long lectures. You get to improvise your public speaking, community skills, critical reading and writing skills with the guidance of experienced faculty members along with resident advisors and teaching assistants called “factotums” in this summer program.
