Special Education Paraprofessional – Palmer Lake Elementary School
Full‑time position (7.5 hours per day) located at Palmer Lake Elementary School. The role assists in conducting intensified learning experiences for students in assigned areas of study and performs a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.
Responsibilities- Support students in intensified learning experiences in assigned subject areas.
- Assist with classroom preparation and organization.
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and document filing.
- Support instructional personnel with related duties as needed.
- Current Colorado educator’s license, bachelor’s degree, RBT certification, CNA license, or RMA/CMA certificate (may affect starting rate).
- Experience working with special education students preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Eligible for the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account (PERA). Full‑time employees may select from health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans with additional options for employees, spouses, children, and families. Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and Colorado law. The position is full time, working on all student contact days plus three professional development days determined by the principal.
