Centauri Middle School Principal
Location:
North Conejos School District, San Juan Mountains, Southern Colorado
Pay: $82,000 - $90,000 per year
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Superintendent, the Principal will lead and supervise the educational program to promote student development and achievement per district policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and applicable law.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership and supervision of the educational program
- Developing a quality staff and modeling instructional practice
- Utilizing school performance data to drive instruction
- Ensuring discipline and safety of students
- Ability to serve as the face of Centauri Middle School and exemplify excellence in personal and professional conduct
- Engagement in all school activities
- Commitment to strengthening community partnerships
- Enthusiasm for holding students and staff to high expectations
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand performance data and lead others in applying it
- Familiarity with educational policy, regulatory practices, and applicable law
- Leadership to drive continual improvement of academic performance
- Successful teaching experience, including completion of an educational internship program
- Master’s Degree or emphasis in educational leadership/administration
- Valid Colorado Principal License or eligibility to receive one
- Clear CBI/FBI background check
