Qualifications & Experience:
- National certification or state credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter (EIPA, RID, or equivalent preferred)
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience interpreting in K-12 educational settings highly desirable
- Adaptability to diverse classroom environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation for students, teachers, and staff
- Foster accessible learning environments and facilitate classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education professionals
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with school policies and interpreting standards
- Adapt communication methods to meet individual student needs
