Soliant is seeking a dedicated special education professional to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs. You'll play a key part in creating inclusive, empowering educational experiences that help every learner succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Design Individualized Instruction
- Develop and implement communication-focused and social-emotional learning plans for a caseload of 12 students, ensuring each learner receives targeted, evidence-based support aligned with their IEP goals. - Deliver Daily Specialized Support
- Provide direct instruction, modeling, and guided practice in communication skills, peer interaction, emotional regulation, and functional social behaviors during the 8a-4:30p school day. - Collaborate With Teams
- Partner closely with families, related service providers, and general education staff to monitor progress, adjust strategies, and maintain consistent communication across school and home environments. - Maintain Documentation and Compliance
- Track student growth, complete required IEP documentation, and participate in meetings and data reviews to ensure all services are delivered with fidelity and in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Previous experience in schools preferred
- Requires a Colorado teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
- Full-time, Contract
- 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
