Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a part-time Early Childhood Assistant at Lewis-Palmer Elementary School beginning with the school year.
ResponsibilitiesThe Early Childhood Assistant collaborates with teachers and staff to deliver age‑appropriate learning experiences for preschool‑aged children. This role supports inclusive classrooms that serve students with diverse developmental needs. The position works Fridays from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm and Monday–Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:45 pm. The first day of work is August 10, 2026.
QualificationsMust have or be eligible to receive a current Early Childhood Assistant certificate. Experience in early childhood education is preferred.
- Current Early Childhood Assistant certification or eligibility.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work inclusive classroom environments.
Starting hourly wage is $20.20 to $21.78, depending on prior experience.
