Job SummaryWest Grand School District is seeking a dynamic individual who is enthusiastic about working with students in a small, rural community. Qualifications- Must possess a Colorado Teacher License or be able to obtain one.
- Preferred high school teaching experience.
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem‑solving skills.
- Ensure students achieve learning outcomes that are above average in the subject of science or mathematics.
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Knowledge of subjects assigned.
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
- Strong communications, public relations and interpersonal skills.
- Engages students at a high level.
- Knows students' learning styles.
- Brings science lessons to life with real‑world applications.
- Understands student sensitivities and differences.
- Is committed to continual professional improvement.
