QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Hold or be willing to obtain the CTE Engineering and Technology endorsement. Candidates may qualify through a combination of military service, industry credentials, relevant work experience, or a willingness to complete Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering Core Training.
  • Preferred:
    Additional endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education or a willingness to pursue the endorsement or equivalent coursework.

  • Strong Understanding of Colorado Academic Standards - Demonstrated ability to align instruction, curriculum, and assessment with state standards to ensure student success.

  • Data-Driven Instruction - Proficiency in using multiple formative and summative assessments to inform instruction, create flexible student groupings, and provide targeted, differentiated support.
  • Engaging and Effective Pedagogy - Experience implementing a range of active learning strategies, including hands-on, inquiry-based, and student-centered approaches that promote deep understanding and skill development.
  • Standards-Based Instructional Design - Expertise in designing rigorous, standards-aligned learning experiences that challenge and support all learners.
  • Integration of Second Language Development Strategies - Ability to incorporate language acquisition techniques into core instruction to support multilingual learners.
  • Project-Based and Inquiry-Driven Learning - Experience developing and delivering project-based and inquiry-based instruction that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application of engineering concepts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Innovative Engineering Instruction - Design and deliver engaging, hands-on instruction that integrates inquiry, problem-solving, and the engineering design process across courses such as Robotics, Digital Electronics, DC/AC Electricity, Electronics, and other CTE Engineering and Technology pathway subjects.
