Instructional Support Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan instruction and assessment aligned with district learner outcomes and state achievement standards.
• Supervise assigned students and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt instruction to meet the individual learning needs of all students, increasing the probability of advancing their achievement.
• Direct primary professional efforts toward the development and success of individual professional goals, specifically instructional improvement and expertise in all areas of instruction.
• Maintain positive inter‑personal relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members.

• All teachers are members of PLCs to grow professionally through teaming with colleagues, participating in PD activities, and planning lessons collaboratively and independently.
• Support PLCs by personal involvement and contributing to the professional growth of others, supporting school and district culture.

Position will start Jan. 2019.
