The Clear Creek School District (CCSD) is located in Clear Creek County, Colorado, a short drive west of Denver and its suburbs. The district serves the mountain communities of Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Empire, Dumont, Silver Plume, and parts of Evergreen. Position Summary

The Instructional Coach works as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning in all content areas. The coach focuses on individual and group professional development to expand and refine the understanding of research‑based effective instruction, aligning with the District and school UIPs. This is a grant funded position on a three‑year grant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the intellectual and professional development of teachers.
  • Maintain positive relationships with educators and administrators.
  • Communicate and demonstrate evidence‑based instructional practices that increase student performance and improve classroom environments.
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the district and community.
  • Encourage professional growth and provide organized, individual and/or group learning opportunities.
  • Assist teachers in designing instructional decisions based on assessment data and culturally responsive practices.
  • Support in analyzing student work and assessment data to adjust instruction for student needs.
  • Support implementation of various instructional programs and assess their effects on student achievement.
  • Co‑plan with teachers to model or co‑teach and demonstrate aligned instructional strategies.
  • Coach teachers in monitoring instruction and student progress through observations and reflective conversations.
  • Partner with teachers to design, implement and reflect on differentiated instructional approaches and effective implementation of multi‑tiered supports.
  • Provide feedback and support in researching instructional and/or curriculum issues.
  • Partner with building leaders to manage time and schedule flexibility that maximizes teacher schedules and learning.
  • Collaborate with building leadership to meet identified district and building improvement goals.
  • Assist in developing classroom environments that are safe, inclusive and conducive to learning for all students.
  • Maintain organized records of coaching activities, goals and non‑evaluative progress.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Training

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution and completion of a state‑approved Teacher Preparation Program.

Experience

Five or more years of successful teaching experience and one to two years minimum of coaching experience.
