Qualifications for teaching positions can include a Colorado Dept. of Education (CDE) Teaching License, a transferred teaching license from another state, a Bachelor's Degree and a CDE Alternative License, or applicable work experience and a CDE Adjunct License. For substitutes, para professionals, and preschool staff, a high school education, experience with kids, and work experience are required.

The 2025-26 school year runs from August 11, 2025, through May 28, 2026, with a voter-approved bonus paid in April and June each year.
