Starting Pay RatesFull Day: $180.00 | Half Day: $108.00
Employment PeriodAs Needed.
Qualifications and Expectations- BA/BS from an accredited college or university OR
- Valid 1, 3, or 5‑year Substitute Authorization. Please visit the Colorado Department of Education website for more information on obtaining authorization.
- Colorado teaching license.
- Translates lesson plans into learning experiences to best utilize instruction time.
- Demonstrates subject‑matter concepts and examples using models, technology provided, and teacher‑prepared instructional aids.
- Demonstrates punctuality and good attendance.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, including proper use of equipment.
- Follows appropriate district policies and procedures.
- Assumes responsibility for instruction, duties, and supervision of students according to assigned position.
- Demonstrates confidentiality as related to the job.
- Establishes rapport with students and provides a pleasant, safe, and orderly climate conducive to learning.
- Supervises students in and out of classroom activities during the assigned work day.
