Licensed Substitute / Guest Teacher Vacancy

Day to Day Substitute Teaching – Current substitutes do not need to apply.

New substitutes are required to participate in an orientation – dates to be determined.

Full Day: $180.00 | Half Day: $108.00

As Needed.

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university OR
• Valid 1, 3, or 5‑year Substitute Authorization. Please visit the Colorado Department of Education website for more information on obtaining authorization.
• Colorado teaching license.

• Translates lesson plans into learning experiences to best utilize instruction time.
• Demonstrates subject‑matter concepts and examples using models, technology provided, and teacher‑prepared instructional aids.
• Demonstrates punctuality and good attendance.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, including proper use of equipment.
• Follows appropriate district policies and procedures.
• Assumes responsibility for instruction, duties, and supervision of students according to assigned position.
• Demonstrates confidentiality as related to the job.
• Establishes rapport with students and provides a pleasant, safe, and orderly climate conducive to learning.
• Supervises students in and out of classroom activities during the assigned work day.
