• Current Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience working with students in pre‑kindergarten through grade 5 preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
• Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for individualized instruction

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse abilities in PK-5
• Develop, modify, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrators
• Track student progress and adjust strategies to promote academic and social growth
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Engage families in the educational process and provide regular updates on student progress
