• Valid State Certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience teaching or supporting PK-5 students in a special education setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies for various learning needs
• Creative, flexible, and proactive approach to problem‑solving in the classroom

• Provide individualized and small group instruction to PK-5 students with a variety of learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate effectively with general education staff, specialists, and families
• Maintain all required special education documentation and compliance standards
• Support students' social and emotional growth within the classroom environment
• Participate in professional development and regular team meetings
