Salary: $40 - $55 per hour
Responsibilities- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, parents, and other educators to ensure the educational needs of the students are met.
- Providing case management services for assigned students, including coordinating with other service providers, tracking progress, and advocating for student needs.
- Conducting assessments to determine student needs and progress.
- Providing consultation and support to other teachers and staff regarding special education strategies and interventions.
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education and healthcare.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
- Active CO Sped General Endorsement or must have already applied.
- Proven experience as a case manager and writing IEPs.
- A deep understanding of special education laws and practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- The ability to provide four references, with at least three from supervisors.
