Special Education Teacher - Bailey, Colorado

Beginning August 5 and running through May 31, you'll work Monday through Thursday, 7:45 am to 4:15 pm, making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

• Valid Special Education Teacher credentials
• Experience or familiarity with mild to moderate disabilities, as well as cognitive disabilities
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to a caseload of 10 students with mild to moderate needs, plus one student with a cognitive disability
• Adapt curriculum content and teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff to ensure student progress
• Monitor, measure, and document student growth through regular assessments and IEP meetings
• Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing environment that encourages students to reach their fullest potential
