The Goddard School of Edgewater is the premiere preschool in Edgewater, MD. We are professional, agile, supportive and our goal is to provide a wonderful, kind experience not only for our children and their families but also for our faculty.
Requirements- Kindness and strong character
- Desire to nurture children and help them grow to make the world better
- CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred, not required)
- 90 Hour Preschool Certificate preferred; school will provide tuition assistance if not certified
- EEC Certification preferred (school will help obtain)
- Ability to work between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Teaching experience: 1‑3 years (Preferred)
- Childcare experience: 1‑3 years (Preferred)
- Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Providing positive guidance supporting social and emotional development
- Establishing positive and productive relationships with families
- Ensuring a well‑run program by developing lesson plans and building teamwork
- Understanding and implementing Goddard’s health & safety procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
8‑hour shift

In person, Edgewater, MD (21037)
