- Assistant Principal: $98,944-$/year, based on qualifications and experience.
- Athletic Director: $113,349-$145,653/year, based on qualifications and experience.

Assistant Principal SummaryThe assistant principal is responsible for assisting the Principal with instructional and organizational leadership, direction, supervision, operations and accountability for the attainment of school goals. Duties include evaluating, appraising, mentoring and monitoring licensed and classified staff; leading staff professional development; supervising, monitoring, and encouraging appropriate student behavior and individual student success; and planning and implementation of required assessments.
Assistant Principal Responsibilities- Assist and support the implementation of building‑level curriculum and instruction for the purpose of increasing student achievement.
- Supervise, assess and monitor student performance using objective and verifiable information, including standardized, criterion‑referenced district and teacher‑developed assessments.
- Evaluate and supervise school personnel for the purpose of monitoring performance, providing professional growth, and achieving overall objectives of the school's curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with the Principal or dean of students to implement and monitor safety plans, oversee suspensions and expulsions. Establish guidelines and expectations for appropriate student behavior with the goal of maintaining an academic environment conducive to student achievement, including supervision during lunch, in the hallways and during co‑curricular activities at night and after school.
- Facilitate communication (oral and written) between personnel, students and/or parents for the purpose of evaluating situations, solving problems and/or resolving conflicts.
- Participate in social, cultural, interscholastic and extracurricular activities.
- Develop and implement staff development opportunities including organizing and facilitating department, team and/or building based discussions, trainings, or meetings.
- Assist Principal with the hiring of new teachers and building staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Provide visionary leadership for Poudre School District's secondary athletic and activities programs. Develop, coordinate, schedule, and evaluate all middle school and high school athletics and activities. Develop, maintain, interpret, and enforce athletic policies and procedures in accordance with district, league, state, and national guidelines. Participate in the evaluation process for all middle and high school athletic/activities directors. Coordinate the dissemination of information to parents, school athletic/activities directors, participants, community, and media.
Manage the District's athletic stadium, prepare and monitor district athletic budget, and participate in the hiring and evaluation of coaches.
- Coordinate, schedule, supervise, and attend all district‑wide athletic events; arrange transportation, lodging, and meals for all district, regional and state events.
- Manage a variety of athletic and activities budgets including the middle school athletic budget, PSA concessions budget, equipment budget and French Field budget. Monitor the high school's site based budgets.
- Work collaboratively with middle school principals and transportation to create schedules that minimize loss of academic time.
- Work collaboratively with the appropriate central office personnel regarding school needs such as financial and accounting functions, maintenance, security, and concessions to promote integrated operations for athletics and activities.
