Special Education Teacher in Hayden, CO

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in a contract role for the upcoming school year. This opportunity involves working with K-5th grade students as a Mild/Moderate Resource Teacher, as well as providing instruction for K-12th grade students with moderate to severe needs. Your expertise will help create empowering learning experiences and foster the growth and confidence of your students.

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience working with K-12 students with mild/moderate or moderate/severe disabilities
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to adapt instructional methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

• Plan and deliver specialized instruction for K-5th (mild/moderate) and K-12th (moderate/severe) students
• Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Advocate for students educational, behavioral, and social needs
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
• Participate in relevant staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.82 to $49.82. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
