Position: Secondary Special Education (SpEd) Teachers (District Hiring Pool)
Location: Carbondale

Roaring Fork School District (RFSD)

The Roaring Fork School District is currently seeking applications for full-time Secondary Special Education Teachers (SSN and MMN) in anticipation of hiring needs for the 2026-27 school year.

Position Overview

Viable candidates will receive regular updates as our hiring process progresses and specific building openings arise.

This position requires a full state licensure in Special Education or the ability to obtain it and works 185 days per year.

Compensation
  • Salary Range:
    Starting at $54,000, with higher compensation for experienced candidates (up to approximately $82,320).
  • Salary

    Note:

    The annual salary is based on a full-time equivalent (FTE) of 1.0, working 8 hours per day. Positions that are less than full FTE will be prorated accordingly.
