Join our Bear Creek Elementary team for the  school year as a full time Special Education Paraprofessional and see how your support helps students and yourself, thrive. This position will be working on all student contact days plus three professional development days determined by the principal for a total of 165 days. This position is full time, 7.5 hours per day, and is eligible for benefits.

Under general supervision, the position assists in conducting intensified learning experiences for students in assigned areas of study. This position will support students in our moderate and severe needs programs.

The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.95 - $21.51,depending on previous experience. A higher starting rate may be granted to applicants who hold one of the following: a current Colorado educator's license, bachelor's degree, RBT certification, CNA license or RMA/CMA certificate.

All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. The employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans.

Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
