As an Early Preschool Classroom Teacher at the award-winning Primrose School of Evergreen, San Jose, CA you will be caring for children aged 2 years to 3 years. Our most active and curious children will bring you joy and laughter each day as they amaze you with their daily growth, vocabulary and understanding. Using our expertly designed and research-based curriculum, the guess work is taken out of teaching and you can spend your time guiding, loving and enriching the lives of the children in your care.

• MUST have 12 core Early Childhood Education units with a grade of C or better required. (Child development, Child-family-community, two Curriculum classes)
• Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young children
• Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred
• Must meet required state background check
• Must be able to work on an iPad to enter children's daily logs and write incident reports and messages to parents.

• Engage, interact, and supervise children in positive ways to support their growth and learning
• Provides an safe, attractive, well‑kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision‑making by the children
• Plan with the Education Coach and implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materials
• Complete, supervise and monitor continual evaluation of each child’s developmental needs
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and classroom activities.
