Wind Turbine Technician
Sky Climber Renewables in Colorado (CO) is actively seeking skilled full-time, local Technicians to climb, service and maintain a fleet of wind turbines at the Cheyenne Ridge II Wind Farm located 25 minutes south of Seibert, Colorado. If you love working outdoors and want to contribute to reducing our carbon footprint, this is an opportunity to join a team focused on safe, reliable wind power maintenance.
Local wind technicians work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM and earn a competitive wage of $22.00 - $24.00/hour. We provide generous benefits and perks, including dental, vision, medical, & life coverage, a 401(k) plan, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, paid gear, equipment, and uniform, an on-site company vehicle, and all-expenses paid technical training.
ResponsibilitiesClimb, service and maintain a fleet of wind turbines at the Cheyenne Ridge II Wind Farm. Perform routine diagnostics and preventive maintenance. Collaborate with a team to ensure safe and efficient operations. Participate in on-site training and adhere to company safety policies.
Qualifications- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work-at-heights.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and within 60 miles of job location.
- Ability to pass drug screen, physical and background check.
