Wind Turbine Technician III – Grover, CO

Vestas Wind Technology, Inc.

Sign‑on bonus: $2,500 USD / $3,300 CAD. Eligibility applies.

About the Role

In this intermediate‑level position, you will perform maintenance and/or installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision. You will follow safety protocol and scheduled procedures, mentor entry‑level technicians, and work at heights up to 250+ feet or in confined spaces. The role involves climbing, carrying tools, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and install wind turbine components following safety guidelines.
  • Work independently and provide mentorship to entry‑level technicians.
  • Perform tasks at heights up to 250+ feet and in confined spaces.
  • Follow scheduled maintenance procedures and document work.
Qualifications
  • Basic Safety Training (BST) certification.
  • Basic Technical Training (BTT) certification.
  • Advanced Rescue Training (ART) certification from GWO.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 lbs.; climb stairs or ladders to 60‑100 meters; supervise in confined spaces; use communication devices; manage safety training and certifications.
Salary & Career Growth

Base pay range $27.43–$33.43 per hour with potential variable compensation. Pay determined by experience and qualifications.
