Job Summary
Completes preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on generators or components at the customer site with minimal direction.
Responsibilities- Completing repair activities on generators or components.
- Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Performing maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools.
- Maintaining detailed records of service.
- Adhering to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Ongoing development and certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
- Maintaining own tools.
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
- Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands‑on exposure to working on power generation products.
- Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators.
- Basic diesel engine experience.
- Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.
- Apprentice‑Trained Power Generation/Electrical Technician (Preferred).
- Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
- Current relevant electrical certification.
- Locally valid driving permit.
- May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Minimal level of workshop‑related experience required.
- Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products.
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
Salary rate commensurate with experience.
