QB Energy operates in the Piceance Basin of Western Colorado, currently operating about 400,000 net acres. The company develops and operates upstream gathering, compression, processing, and fractionation assets, with a focus on safety, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. Initiatives such as zero-flaring, methane emissions reduction, water recycling, and wildlife mitigation help minimize footprint while maximizing long-term value.

Contribute to overall production goals by determining where underground utilities (such as gas, oil, water, telephone and power lines) are located.

• Perform all applicable utility locate requests in a timely manner
• Respond to all UNCC/WebTMS locate requests before expiration
• Perform job functions with concern for safety and environment
• Must be responsible and accountable for managing all Co811/WebTMS locate request tickets
• Responsible for regular checks and maintenance of all locating equipment
• Report problems requiring additional help or equipment to Supervisor
• Work professionally and respectfully with landowners and others at all times while performing job
• Other duties and responsibilities may be required at the direction of supervisor

• Comply with all company policies, environmental laws and regulations and all other applicable laws and regulations
• Assist in locating and documenting company utilities into GIS database

• High School diploma and 4 years related experience.

• Basic mapping skills
• Basic knowledge of GPS tools and technologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of pipeline systems and safety

• Willingly ask questions and seek guidance from supervision.
• Show initiative by actively seeking advanced knowledge.
• Must be computer literate to include use of laptop and related technologies.
• Must be a self-starter. Possesses the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be accustomed to performing tasks in potentially adverse conditions.

• Valid CO driver's license with driver’s record acceptable by QB Energy’s insurance carrier.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in oil and gas industry or with Foreman recommendation.

The base compensation for this role in this location is targeted between $62,400 to $93,600 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the range listed above.

Location:

This position is in Parachute, CO. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, it is the expectation that the selected individual will be available at the work location.

This is a full-time position that operates in a field environment. The role requires flexibility to work weekends, nights, holidays, and handle callouts as needed.
