Location: Edwards
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Flight Test / EMD Test Strategic Planner that will be supporting an emerging program at our Edwards AFB, CA location.
Responsibilities- Plan the testing progression of a major Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) flight test program.
- Coordinate with engineers regarding the types of tests to be completed.
- Determine what tests can be performed in what order, considering interdependencies and prerequisites.
- Interface with the System Program Office and Prime Contractor regarding test planning and scheduling.
- Participate in trade studies related to planning of test events.
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in Flight Sciences, Avionics, Weapons, and EW flight test.
- Participation in a previous major EMD flight test program as an Engineer, Test Conductor, or Test Pilot.
- Experience with program management.
- Experience with or knowledge of systems engineering processes and procedures.
- Experience on cross‑functional teams comprised of engineering, program management, and operations personnel/technicians to successfully execute developmental test.
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field of study is required.
Clearance RequirementsActive Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
