Water​/Wastewater Position II - Town of Silt

Town of Silt is looking for a team player to fill a full‑time Level II position in the Water/Wastewater Department. The role performs complex water process control and quality analysis in a laboratory and plant environment to ensure compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.

Responsibilities include caring for and operating the treatment plant, collection systems and distribution systems associated with the water and wastewater systems.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in operations and maintenance of water and wastewater utility systems.
• Class C or higher water and wastewater treatment certification (desirable).
• Extensive knowledge of procedures and practices of water and wastewater production, collection, treatment, distribution, maintenance, operations and repair.
• Thorough knowledge of Department of Health and Environment regulations for operation of water and wastewater utilities.

Salary ranges from $55,120 to $66,560 DOE, plus full benefit package.
