Full-time opportunity in Carbondale or Telluride, Colorado (Glenwood Springs to Aspen - Ouray to Telluride) $90,000 - $150,000 annual salary + excellent benefits & flexibility.

- B.S. and/or M.S. in Architectural, Civil or Structural Engineering
- PE/SE license in CO or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 60 days
- 6+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer designing wood, steel, concrete, masonry & other materials
- 4+ years of experience on highly custom residential and commercial buildings
- Ability to successfully manage project design/coordination, internal project teams, clients & project financials
- Proficiency with structural engineering principles & applicable building/design codes
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA, Dlubal, Enercalc, etc.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit and/or Archicad, or desire to learn & utilize the basics to optimize production
- Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and project team members while fostering strong professional relationships within the community
- Manage multiple projects, collaborating effectively with clients, architects, contractors, other project team members
- Engineer and oversee the structural design of wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and unique building assemblies, ensuring quality and innovation
- Utilize and supervise the use of current engineering technologies, software tools, and building/design codes for efficient, clear documentation and calculations
- Provide and oversee excellent construction administration, including field observations & formal reports
- Be ethical, professional, proactive & thoughtful
- Live and thrive in a Colorado mountain resort community, contributing thoughtfully to both the team and local environment
