Folio Photonics is developing a new generation of optical storage systems combining advanced optics, electronics, and signal processing.
We are seeking an entry-level electrical engineer to assist with the design and development of embedded and FPGA-based systems used to control and process data within the optical drive.
Responsibilities
* Develop embedded systems and FPGA-based hardware
* Assist with hardware bring-up and system integration
* Implement digital interfaces and control systems
* Support development of high-speed electronics and data paths
* Collaborate with signal processing and firmware teams
Qualifications
* BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
* Coursework in:
* digital systems
* embedded systems
* FPGA design
* computer architecture
Preferred Skills
* Verilog or VHDL
* C/C++ programming
* embedded Linux
* hardware debugging
