Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager
Location:
Fully remote
Competitive Pay: $50-55/Hr
Duration: Initial 12-month contract (expected extension/conversion)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours, M-F, no OT
Target Start: ASAP/July

Job Overview:
The Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager is expected to have a good understanding of consumer electronics, biocompatibility, analytical testing, demonstrated experience in program management and has worked in a collaborative cross functional, fast paced environment. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, engaging with cross functional partners, and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during product development process, clear communication to peers and SME's and help build processes and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple biocompatibility projects for consumer electronic products.
- Partner with engineering, safety, quality, and supplier teams to select safe, biocompatible materials.
- Coordinate product testing, track results, and ensure testing stays on schedule.
- Communicate findings, risks, and project updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Help develop and improve processes, workflows, and documentation related to biocompatibility testing.
- Prioritize competing projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- BS/MS degree in Toxicology, Biomedical Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- 2+ years of project/program management experience.
- Experience working in consumer electronics.
- Basic understanding of biocompatibility, analytical testing (HPLC, ICPMS, LC/MS, GS/MS), and customer safety.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with product development processes and stage-gate checkpoints.
- Consumer electronics industry
- Experience creating workflows, SOPs, or operational processes.
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry and biocompatibility assessments.
