Manufacturing Engineer – Tester II – Semiconductor Product Validation
As a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer, you thrive on improving processes, driving yield, and supporting new product introductions in semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, workflows, and operation sequences for semiconductor equipment and sub‑assemblies.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by collaborating with design and engineering teams.
- Initiate and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs/ECRs) for product and process improvements.
- Estimate manufacturing costs, define cycle times, and recommend tooling and process enhancements.
- Apply DFx (Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Test) principles to improve yield, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and execute test procedures; support test specifications in collaboration with test/software engineering.
- Assist in test fixture design, validation, and sourcing activities.
- Analyze manufacturing and test data to drive continuous improvement and yield enhancement.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for assembly/test issues.
- Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) for new and existing processes.
- Improve and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
- Experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, cleanroom, or high‑tech assembly environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, test methodologies, and process optimization.
- Hands‑on experience with data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with DFx, PFMEA, and quality methodologies.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment.
- 100% onsite role in a semiconductor / cleanroom environment.
- Requires use of PPE (coveralls, gloves, safety glasses, etc.).
- Involves physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and working with tools/equipment.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Compensation Range: $48,000 – $72,000
BenefitsFull‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
