Manufacturing Engineer III – Jabil

Jabil, a leading provider of engineering, supply‑chain and manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to advance our screw‑production operations. This role focuses on leadership, process development, tool design, machine programming, equipment acquisition, manufacturing layout, continuous improvement, and engineering support for production.

• Lead technical projects within manufacturing sites or suppliers to improve process capacity, capability, yield and maintainability.
• Provide technical support for the approval/validation of changes and improvements within manufacturing site or supplier processes.
• Support the resolution of component quality issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Supervise technical activities in ME areas (projects, CAD, BOM).
• Qualify and validate site and/or supplier tooling as per component approval procedures to sustain supply‑chain continuity.
• Close component non‑conformance issues with corrective action submission and approval of site/supplier control plans.
• Develop and revise products and moderate‑complexity manufacturing processes.
• Direct and develop technical support staff, coordinating activities and ensuring technical development.
• Plan, conduct and direct engineering projects or studies with advanced knowledge of a specialized field.
• Apply comprehensive engineering principles across broad assignment areas.
• Contribute creatively and proactively to the engineering team, focusing on continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent education/experience).
• 4–8 years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering.
• Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., Medical Devices) is preferred.
• Prior supervisor experience is advantageous.
• Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification, or at least 2 years of relevant experience, is preferred.
• Proficiency in written, verbal and presentation communication.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Minitab and relevant databases.
• Exceptional organizational and project‑management skills with a results‑oriented approach.
• Effective interpersonal skills and professionalism in interactions with colleagues.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

• Pay range: $79,400 – $142,900.
