YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Our US South Water business is rapidly growing, and we are seeking a Practice Leader to support the future growth and development of our Texas Water business, with a primary focus on expanding Stantec's municipal and state water markets across Texas. Reporting to the Regional Growth Leader, this senior-level position will use industry knowledge, client relationships, and market expertise to help set the vision and strategic direction for our Texas Water business.
The role involves identifying, developing, pursuing, and winning projects with new and existing municipal and state agency clients, while working collaboratively with Stantec's federal and industrial Practice Leaders to align market strategies, leverage technical expertise, and pursue integrated growth opportunities. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership and communication skills, market knowledge, business acumen, and a successful history of client relations and account management.
Key growth areas include opportunities presented by flood risk reduction, coastal restoration, water supply, water treatment, wastewater treatment, conveyance, and stormwater projects of varying size and complexity, with coordination across adjacent federal and industrial water opportunities where appropriate.
The Texas Water Practice Leader can be based within any Water office throughout Texas and should be readily able to travel to other locations easily.
