When you join Space Protection Programs (SPP) you will be part of one of the most inventive and fastest moving organizations in Space. • Provide support to Space Protection Programs by analyzing test data, and other engineering duties.
• Perform Contamination Control technical engineering assignments
• Be responsible for contamination control requirements derivation, verification, and various contamination analyses
• Participate in the selection, qualification, testing, and failure analysis of materials & processes, prepare technical and progress reports, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports.
• Coordinate with other teams such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement

• A self-starter who implements solutions to technical issues
• A motivated individual who's able to work closely with a multidisciplinary and diverse team to resolve technical issues
• Someone able to handle shifting priorities, multiple projects and timeline pressure to meet deadlines
• Someone comfortable with communicating in a variety of forums
• Someone willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to work with management and program representatives at several levels
Desired skills:
• Active or Current TS/SCI w/poly clearance
• Experience establishing and implementing technical requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.)
• Experience implementing contamination control for space applications or related field
• Experience with precision cleaning of hardware or producing verification products for government customers
• Comfortable working around critical, high value hardware
• Understanding and experience with system level Integration and Test including environmental requirements related to the assembly of the LM Space Vehicle.
• Experience creating and implementing cleanroom hardware, facility, and personnel requirements
• Experience working collaboratively with customers and teammates
• Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
