Position Overview
This position is responsible for drilling, completions, and applicable petroleum engineering support primarily focused on horizontal unconventional resource development in the San Juan Basin. Responsible for wellbore and completion design, execution, and supporting internal processes associated with budgeting and post-appraisals. Works collaboratively as a member of a multi-discipline team to optimize field development and depletion.
Qualifications- Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering with seven years of petroleum engineering, or other relevant engineering or geoscience experience;
- A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or geosciences with nine years of petroleum engineering, or other relevant engineering or geoscience experience is required;
- Must have experience in well design and execution of unconventional horizontal wellbores.
- Must have experience in completion design and execution of unconventional horizontal wellbores.
- Must have knowledge in a wide range of drilling applications and ability to make sound decisions quickly on a regular basis.
