As the Systems Engineer you will play a critical role in the development, integration, and testing of this advanced system. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support the weapon system integration in test labs leading up to a flight test event.
- Execute the system level integration and testing to ensure the weapon system meets its performance, safety, and functional objectives.
- Coordinate test lab activities for Navy efforts to drive execution.
- Offer guidance to a Systems Engineering team, covering the entire Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development to weapons system operations and integration.
- Develop strong working relationships with the larger systems team, national team members, and customers to ensure successful product delivery
- Utilize your excellent interpersonal skills to assist with the resolution of programmatic and technical issues across the program, identify risks and appropriate mitigation plans
- Collaborate with government and customer representatives to support critical daily space-based operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities.
- Some travel may be required.
