Plant Reliability Engineer – Power Generation

We are seeking an experienced Engineer with a strong background in power generation, plant engineering, reliability engineering, or industrial facility operations. This role supports engineering projects, technical design reviews, and plant system evaluations with a focus on mechanical systems, piping, equipment reliability, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate can contribute immediately with limited ramp-up time and has hands-on experience in power plants or similar industrial environments.

• Perform engineering evaluations and technical design reviews for plant systems and equipment
• Review and analyze Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Provide expertise on mechanical systems, piping systems, valve selection, and equipment specifications
• Support capital project execution, engineering modifications, and design review activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams - operations, maintenance, reliability, and project groups
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend reliability/efficiency improvements
• Ensure engineering solutions comply with applicable standards and safety requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred)
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience in power plants, power generation, plant engineering, reliability engineering, or industrial facilities
• Strong understanding of equipment and plant operations
• Experience conducting technical design reviews and reviewing P&IDs
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, piping systems, valve selection, and equipment specifications
• Experience working on cross-functional engineering teams

• Combined cycle power plant experience
• Reliability engineering / plant engineering experience
• Simple cycle combustion turbine experience
