Systems Engineer

• Establish, track, and validate technical requirements across various system levels and components.
• Evaluate software and system performance metrics by extracting and analyzing data using specialized modeling tools.
• Perform root-cause analysis to troubleshoot system anomalies and implement corrective measures.
• Document system structures and interface designs using model-based systems engineering methodologies.
• Help execute design changes, spanning from routine system updates to major capability integrations.
• Draft and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and engineering guidelines.

• At least 3 years of systems engineering experience with a STEM Bachelor's degree (or 1+ years with a Master's degree).

• Strong understanding of the Systems Engineering "V" lifecycle model.

• Familiarity with basic Linux command-line navigation.
• Experience with satellite communications ground systems or defense-focused aerospace programs.
• Familiarity with DoDAF frameworks and MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Experience utilizing Jira and Confluence.
• Background in risk mitigation, asset management, or reliability engineering.
