Slot Shift Manager
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000

We welcome you to Monarch Casino Resort Spa, a premier destination for luxury gaming and hospitality in Black Hawk, Colorado. The Slot Shift Manager will oversee all facets of operations on the slot floor, ensuring excellent guest service and efficient machine management.

- Direct responsibility for all facets of operations on the slot floor, with all Slot Operation Attendants as direct reports.
- Monitor and initiate all Slot Department Guest Service initiatives, including jackpot response time, team member scorecards, guest introductions, and new guest sign‑ups.
- Handle guest disputes, machine malfunctions, and team member issues, following through to resolution.
- Participate in every aspect of Slot Operations such as initiating/witnessing jackpots, signing up new guests, and promoting slot events.
- Report all operational issues to the Director of Slot Operations and maintain high integrity and premier guest service.
- Ensure proper implementation of established policies and procedures for the Slot Floor.
- Prioritize cleanliness on the floor during all shifts.
- Review training processes, plans, and timelines with new operation attendants.
- Review all areas of responsibility and expectations.
- Maintain operation of slot machines with minimal downtime.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Slot Operations.
- Stay current with all Colorado Division of Gaming updates and changes.
- Stay up‑to‑date with new slot machine hardware, software, and technology.
- Ability to utilize the slot computer system and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Thorough understanding of Title 31 to ensure compliance with federal cash reporting requirements.
- Strong communication skills within the slot department and across all departments.
- Carry basic tools needed for machine work, such as a screwdriver and flashlight.
- Knowledge of the slot systems and ability to use all related programs.
- Must obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret gaming documentation and troubleshooting manuals.
- Great knowledge of CDOG regulations and slot ICMPs.
- Strong computer skills.
- Knowledge of basic math and ability to understand slot pay lines.
- Effective communication with internal and external guests.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to outstanding guest service and prompt response to guest needs.
