Poker Dealer
The Poker Dealer oversees the operation of assigned poker games to ensure accurate gameplay, regulatory compliance, and a positive guest experience. Key duties include dealing games efficiently, managing table funds, and maintaining control of cards, chips, and equipment while monitoring play for irregularities or potential cheating. The role requires delivering excellent guest service, paying wins accurately, and upholding safety and security standards for both guests and team members.
Dealers are also expected to maintain strong knowledge of property amenities, promotions, and events while consistently presenting a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support casino operations.
How You Will Create the Extraordinary
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in the proper handling and operation of poker-related equipment, including chips, cards, and dealer paddle.
- Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity required to manage fast-paced dealing, chip handling, and pot calculations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of poker games offered, including rules, variations, and applicable state gaming regulations and internal controls.
- Ability to accurately calculate and reconcile monetary values and chip totals under time-sensitive conditions.
- Awareness of common cheating, collusion, and theft techniques, with the ability to identify, prevent, and report suspicious activity in compliance with gaming regulations.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to maintain a calm, professional, and welcoming demeanor during high-volume or high-pressure situations.
- Ability to perform duties effectively in a fast-paced, interruptive environment while managing multiple tasks, guest needs, and game requirements simultaneously.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support table games operations and overall casino performance.
What You Will Need
- Technical school education in dealing specified game or equivalent experience.
- Must hold a valid Colorado gaming license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Understand and adhere to all Colorado of Gaming regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
- Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Public relations and guest service skills.
- Able to accurately perform all assigned job duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy in completing assigned duties.
- Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period.

Salary: $ 12.14 an hour + Tips
