Job Type: Full‑Time, On‑site
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule:
Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment; performs duties in compliance with safety procedures.
- Ensures regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent presence during scheduled work hours.
- Resolves problems or emergency situations according to established policies or refers to the supervisor when necessary.
- Maintains awareness of company‑wide marketing needs and keeps the Marketing Director informed; handles difficult guests, vendors, and employees diplomatically, courteously, and positively.
- Enthusiastically makes announcements to guests via PA and conducts promotional drawings.
- Ensures all marketing signage (TVs, posters, etc.) is updated and proofreads all marketing materials.
- Uses Synkros Gaming Management System to update customer information.
- Communicates accurate information about the casino and performs related administrative support duties effectively and promptly; promotes a positive image and goodwill of the company in all marketing activities.
- Provides guests, vendors, and employees with assistance, troubleshooting, and prompt problem resolution.
- Performs a variety of administrative support duties: customer service, secretarial tasks, scheduling, word processing, data entry, statistical and financial analysis, creating spreadsheets, report writing, record‑keeping, copying, faxing, mail delivery and distribution, and other general office support activities.
- Interacts with numerous customers during shifts, becoming familiar with customers and developing positive relationships.
- Promotes all gaming activities; is knowledgeable about slot‑machine payouts, operations, and club membership; promotes Players Club cards and signs customers up.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships and good customer‑service skills with all guests and employees; responds promptly and accurately to guests’ questions and provides assistance on change, gaming rules, verification of winnings, etc.
- Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
- Maintains alertness and awareness of marketing operations; takes appropriate action as directed or as established; informs Marketing Director of any concerns.
- Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
Demonstrated experience within a marketing environment is preferred. Must have experience responding to a high volume of telephone calls, and developing and maintaining positive relations with applicants, guests, vendors, and employees. Experience working under deadlines or pressure, problem‑solving, organizing, and prioritizing work is required. Experience with graphics, spreadsheets, and analysis programs is preferred.
Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education and experience. One (1) or more years of customer service or hospitality experience. Preferred:
One (1) or more years of recent and related successful experience marketing casino games.
Proficient in English; effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.
Other Skills/AbilitiesStrong verbal communication skills, including handling difficult customer relations; proficiency on a variety of computer programs; experience using a multi‑line telephone system is desired.
Work EnvironmentEssential duties involve working with large numbers of people while primarily indoors, frequently loud or high‑noise levels.
Compensation & BenefitsPay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour based on experience.
