SALARY $70,000.00 ANNUALLY - DOE
SUMMARYIn the absence of the General Manager, responsible for the overall operations of the Double Eagle Hotel & Casino. Directs and coordinates activities of all Directors and the Key Managers. Involved in the planning, development and implementation of policies, programs and practices in the support of the casino and hotel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in achieving the long-term goals, objectives and directives of the General Manager and Board of Directors according to plan.
- Assists in the establishment of short and long-term operating financial objectives.
- Ensures that approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied by reviewing and submitting operating plans, capital and expense budgets to Corporate.
- Recommends or approves compensation changes for key personnel in accordance with the operational policy.
- Confers with, and advises subordinates on administrative polices and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods.
- Makes decisions on hiring, promotions and terminations.
- Ensures that necessary staff, advice or assistance is provided to assigned area.
- Responsible for knowing and understanding the Colorado Gaming ICMP’s applicable to the operation.
- UNDERAGE GAMBLING / UNDERAGE DRINKING / CHECKING ’s:
It is your responsibility to ensure no person under the age of twenty-one (21) is consuming any alcoholic beverages, gambling, lingering in a gaming area or sitting in a gaming area. This guideline includes underage and off-duty employees. The best way to assure compliance is to ask for , many people look older than they really are. If anyone looks like they are under thirty-five (35) years of age, you are to ask for their you have questions about any the Key on Duty.
In addition, you will be responsible to attend the annual retraining of Underage Gambling, Alcohol and checking of ’s.
Demonstrated thorough knowledge of casino and hotel operations and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Demonstrated effected effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, which includes contacts with Staff Members Guests, Colorado Regulatory Agencies and other Regulatory Officials. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing and prioritizing work, as well as extensive supervisory skills.
EDUCATIONAND / OR EXPERIENCE
10 years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to analyze operational situations. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts to analyze operations.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSColorado Support/Key Gaming License and valid Colorado Driver’s License.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIESMust be computer literate and possess the ability to work with spreadsheets.
