You're an experienced banking professional with a strong understanding of credit, lending, and client servicing-especially within the high-net-worth space. You're detail-oriented, naturally organized, and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Multitasking comes easily, and you're comfortable working independently while staying aligned with the team. You enjoy building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders and pride yourself on delivering exceptional service and support.
If you're ready to bring a proactive, self-starter mindset to a role where client satisfaction and operational excellence go hand in hand-this role is for you.
About the Role
As a Senior Loan Associate, you'll support the credit and lending process by coordinating loan documentation, managing pipeline activity, and assisting with loan closings for new and existing clients. You'll act as a critical connection point between Relationship Bankers, clients, and internal teams, helping ensure loan portfolio health, timely service, and an exceptional client experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and brings initiative, attention to detail, and a strong customer service mindset.
What You'll Do
* Support Relationship Bankers by coordinating loan applications, approvals, and closings while managing related documentation and client communication.
* Serve as an additional point of contact for clients, helping to deliver service aligned with client segment standards and maintaining strong relationships.
* Oversee general administration and maintenance of the loan portfolio, including renewals, extensions, annual reviews, and compliance tracking.
* Manage construction loans within the Profit Center (PC), including draw processes, third-party inspections, title coordination, and completion oversight.
* Monitor and address past due loans, maturing credits, file exceptions, and covenant requirements to ensure portfolio health and compliance.
* Assist with client onboarding, service requests, sales support materials, and cross-departmental collaboration to enhance overall client experience.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* 3-5 years of experience in banking, lending, credit, or a professional development program (PDP).
* NMLS required upon hire.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills.
* Experience working with banking and credit software; CRM experience preferred.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on client service and relationship management.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, and follow through independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience serving high-net-worth individuals and collaborating across departments.
What We Offer
* Competitive base salary: $30.29 - $43.27/HR, plus strong bonus potential.
* 401(k) plan with employer match.
* Paid parking and transportation benefits.
* Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including:
* Health savings accounts (HSA)
* Flexible spending accounts (FSA)
* Medical, dental, and vision coverage
* Generous paid time off and bank holidays.
* Access to training and professional development programs.
* Sponsorship and support for obtaining professional certifications.
* A culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared success.
